On-site, cash-only parking is available at the Denver Performing Arts Complex with entrances off of Arapahoe Street and 13th Street. Additionally, parking is available from Speer Boulevard Northbound at the adjacent Colorado Convention Center and connected to the Arts Complex by a pedestrian bridge.
There are 27 wheelchair accessible parking spaces in the city-owned Arts Complex garage, all of which are located on levels 3, 4, and 5. The spaces are located on the elevator sides of each level. The breakout is as follows:
5 of which are van accessible (wider access aisles) There is no on street handicapped-only parking spaces, but people with placards may park at any regular meter for up to 4 hours.
For those patrons who are unable to walk from remote parking sites, we recommend 14th & Curtis streets as a drop off point.
Like many big cities, parking can be tight in and around the area. May we recommend these alternatives:
Light Rail:
The RTD Light Rail stops one block from the Arts Complex at the corner of 14th and Champa.
Public Transportation:
More than 15 RTD bus routes stop within one block of the Arts Complex. Check with RTD for bus routes and schedules.
Alternative Routes:
Speer Boulevard is the major thoroughfare leading to the Arts Complex. As such, it can become congested. Additionally, entrances off of Arapahoe get backed up. Consider entering the Arts Complex garage from 13th Street via Champa:
Taxis:
Taxis are frequently available at The Curtis Hotel following performances. The Curtis is located across the street from the Arts Complex at 14th & Curtis streets. Additionally, taxis may be called from the Patron Services desk in the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex lobby upon request.
Restaurant Parking:
Make your theater going experience complete with a pre- or post-show meal at any of downtown Denver’s restaurants, many of which are within walking distance of the Arts Complex. Please see our restaurant list for those who offer special incentives, including parking validation, at their establishments.
Area Parking Lots:
Many surface lots are located within walking distance of the Arts Complex. Check with the Downtown Denver Partnership for a detailed map of these parking options.
